The new E92 M3 was recently launched with a new V8 engine, which produces 414 SAE hp (420 PS, 309 kW) at 8,300 rpm, and peak torque is 295 ft·lbf (400 Nm) at 3,900 rpm. Hartge, the tuning specialist from Germany, had released their tuning package for this car. In terms of improving those impressive numbers, there are two ECU upgrade option available. One increase the top speed limit to 291 km/h, while another just modifies the top speed limiter but we are unclear of the top speed limitation. However this ECU comes with a set of tyres Pirelli P ZERO with speed index until 340 km/h, so we assume the top speed is beyond this?
Other modifications include a custom boot lip spoiler, carbon fiber accents and custom Hartge emblems. Inside a custom Hartge three-spoke leather steering wheel with carbon inserts is among the five optional steering wheels. A set of aluminum pedals, an aluminum shift knob, a leather and aluminum handbrake handle and custom mats complete the interior. Optional extras include a zebrano wooden shift knob, illuminated aluminum shift knobs or Hartge-logo steering wheel emblem.
The most gorgoues element in this package is those stunning Hartge Classic 2 Wheel set, which can be equipped with Tyre Pressure Control (TPC) and sets of lockable wheel bolts.
